Gene Brown, Iowa Community Credit Union, Awarded the Credit Union Volunteer Cooperative Spirit Award
Cedar Falls, Iowa – Gene Brown, Chairperson of the Iowa Community Credit Union Board of Directors was recently awarded the Credit Union Volunteer Cooperative Spirit Award at the Annual Iowa Credit Union Convention held in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Cooperative Spirit Award was created in 1992 in recognition of individuals who have shown outstanding service, commitment and leadership in the credit union movement. The purpose of the Credit Union Volunteer Cooperative Spirit Award is to recognize those individuals that have gone beyond the expectations of a credit union leader. Gene has served on the Iowa Community Credit Union Board of Directors for the past 19 years.
