Iowa Community Credit Union Donates Youth Sweatshirts to Needy Children
Iowa Community Credit Union kicked off the summer by holding a two month long fundraiser to purchase new sweatshirts for needy children in the area. A total of $1,000.00 was raised through donations from Credit Union members, staff and the general public.
Donors had the option of writing their name on a paper sweatshirt cut-out to be displayed in the branch office at which the donation was made. Each geographic area in which ICCU is located donated their portion of the sweatshirts purchased to an area elementary school or agency. Sweatshirts were purchased at cost from Image Pointe in Waterloo, IA.
The staff of Iowa Community Credit Union would like to thank those who participated in the first annual youth sweatshirt drive and look forward to additional successful fundraisers in the future.
